New Music: Phlo Go "Bang Bang"

Fell in love with the girl "Phlo" Finister from Oakland , California. I'm more than sure most of you seen her pictures floating around on Tumblr. Well, she immediately grasped my attention as soon as I heard Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones" & Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang". Phlo took two songs that I would have never thought of an add on hell of a new twist, her vocals topped it off of course. Her sexy, hipster, swagg was like the icing on the cake to complete the overall look. I, MarQuisha am a huge FAN an extremely looking forward to whats in store. Be sure to check out Phlo's "BangBang" video.

Las Vegas born & raised I, MarQuisha , couldn't wait to tell Kevin all about (D. FAME) x Dennaya Famous. In my eyes she automatically won me over in her Bio. D. Famous , has strive an so much ambition. Some say  she's a stone cold hustler??? , An it shows through her work as a stylist , an owner of not one but two stores. Life being a full time student ain't easy , but D. Famous definitely put the work an then some in to get to where she's at. It's her drive that makes me an so many others grind to the beginning of no end.

Work of Art: Keith Haring

May 4, 1958 -February 16, 1990

Kevin & I , are huge fans of Keith Harings work. So , it was only right to dedicate a post. It was when Haring moved to New York where he met with fellow friends ,
Kenny Scharf and Jean-Michel Basquiat .He attended School of Visual Arts (SVA) , New York City. Haring  began to organize and participate in exhibits and even performances at Club 57.
He began to create drawings on blank paper panels throughout the subway system
Haring even decided to open a Pop Shop,  (Soho) selling T-shirts, toys, posters, buttons and magnets printed with his images. Haring was very committeded to making his artwork assessable to fans, friends and fellow artist/mentor Andy Warhol.
Haring was diagnosed with AIDS in 1988. The following year he quickly created The Keith Haring Foundation. Even though Haring died at such a young age. His work left kids of this new generation in Awe. Inspiring Fashion, Music even Graphic Artist. What some people would think was the highlight of life ,Haring left something more to remember, Work of Art.

In the beginning of the year, I had the opportunity to meet up with the aspiring model Cykeem White. He had just recently moved to New York from Dallas with his girlfriend Shana (kneehighsandlove.com) and had wasted no time to begin following his dreams. The shoot had went really well. Marquisha and Shana had hit it off and were enjoying themselves as they watched us. We then took a break and had lunch at Chipotle, and then later hit the streets of NY once again. Later that night Shana was so kind to show us around, taking us to all these cool stores up and down St.Marks. As we part ways, we all agreed to someday meet up again.

We Hate To Say Goodbye

Well  as you know Marquisha had came back home to visit me, and to work on a couple of projects we had in mind. But as much as I wanted her to stay, she had to go back to NewYork. I wish I could have went with her, but my time will come. So me, Marquisha and her sister Janelle spent her last day at Mount Trashmore. I miss her so much already.
